Developed in the 1890s by FM Alexander, the Alexander Technique has been used by people of all walks of life to find easier ways of moving through their days and improving their quality of being.

Focusing on the foundations of movement - sitting, standing, walking - we discover and bring awareness to what you’re doing daily that may be causing you discomfort. We each have unique, unconscious strategies for bracing against stress. With this knowledge comes the ability to choose a different way of moving through the world.

Learning and practicing the Alexander Technique can help lessen pain, stress, anxiety, and can improve balance, coordination, efficiency and quality of movement.

Lessons are tailored to each individual and involve gentle hands-on guidance through various activities (sitting, standing, walking, laying down, etc.).
